Winds could pick up again today, but they shouldn’t be as high as last week’s storm. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for today. Winds will come out of the South at a sustained 20-40 miles per hour, gusting to 60, with isolated gusts up to 70 miles per hour. The warning lasts until 2pm today.
The warning is for Asotin and Nez Perce Counties, with heaviest winds in the southern areas of both, as well as Waha, Alpowa Summit, Winchester, Craigmont, and Soldiers Meadow Road.
