The man charged with killing Michael Odom and burning down his house entered a plea of Not Guilty to all four charges against him in Asotin County Superior Court today.

Samuel D. Reeves was extradited from the Tillamook County Jail in Oregon last week. Today he was in court via video link from the Asotin County Jail for his arraignment. That’s where he entered the plea.

Judge Brooke Burns went over the charges. Reeves faces 1st Degree Homicide, 1st Degree Arson, 1st Degree Assault, and Witness Intimidation.

The charges come from the investigation into the suspicious death of Michael Odom at his home on Grande Ronde Road near the Oregon border. Odom’s remains were found inside the burned home.

Last week the Judge set no bond for Reeves. Today his lawyer mentioned that he will be working for a bond-review hearing to see if that can be changed.

Reeves will be back in court on January 5th for his Omnibus hearing.
