A Clarkston man has been arrested for allegedly dealing drugs.

According to a news release, the Quad Cities Drug Task Force arrested 62-year-old Richard Almeida for allegedly possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Detectives executed a narcotics-related search warrant at a home located on Pound Lane in Clarkston on Thursday afternoon. According to the release, authorities discovered about 700 fentanyl pills and more than an ounce of packaged fentanyl powder.

This was the second time law enforcement has initiated a search of the home. 69-year-old Robert Bergamo, of Clarkston, was arrested on similar charges at the same residence in January.
