Washington Governor Jay Inslee held a press conference this afternoon regarding mask mandates and the state’s response to covid-19. Inslee says that if the downward trend of coronavirus hospitalization admissions continues, certain mandates will be phased out in the near future.
Inslee also said vaccine verification for large events will no longer be required as of March 1st. The Governor said he understands the desire to go back to normal, but he stressed caution as the pandemic continues on.
The Governor also said while there are no changes regarding vaccines in the state, people should consider getting the shot if they haven’t already.
