Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle injury crash that occurred at 09:47 a.m. Friday morning on state highway 8 near milepost 29, near Deary.
According to ISP, an unidentified 82-year-old man, from Deary was traveling eastbound on State Highway 8 in a Buick Rainier. The vehicle went off the roadway and came to rest in a ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
There were no other occupants inside the vehicle, and the investigation is ongoing.
