The Lewiston and Clarkston High School girl’s and boy’s basketball teams clash tonight (Fri) when they face each other in the 31st Golden Throne games inside the P1FCU Activity Center on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
Traditionally, the games have been very competitive with the LHS girls leading in the series 19 to 11 over the Bantam girls. Likewise, the Bengal boys have a slightly better record head-to-head with Clarkston, leading in the series with 18 wins over the 30 previous Golden Throne meetings.
Both schools utilize the games as a way to help raise funds for charities in the LC Valley.
The girl’s game will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the boy’s game to follow. Fans can tune in for live coverage of both games in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
