Winds will pick up this afternoon on the Palouse, and tomorrow night in the LC Valley, Prairie, and Clearwater Valley.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Palouse starting at 1pm today (Mon) with gusts up to 45 miles per hour.
Then, starting tomorrow evening, the Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch. It runs through Wednesday afternoon.
In Pomeroy, and the LC Valley, we can expect winds 25-45 miles per hour out of the southwest with gusts up to 70 miles per hour.
In Orofino and Grangeville, winds are expected to blow 25-40 miles per hour sustained, with gusts up to 60 miles per hour.
On the Palouse starting tomorrow, gusts may rise to 70 miles per hour in higher elevations.
