You can put it on the calendar. For the annual Golden Throne fundraising drive, Clarkston High School students are hoping you’ll pitch in, and you won’t even have to get out of your car.
On Tuesday (Dec 16th), you can drive up and hand ASB officers your donation between 10am and 1pm. They’ll be in front of the tennis courts on 6th Street. On Wednesday (Dec 17th), they’ll be near Albertsons at Bridge and 5th streets at the same time.
Last year they raised more than $2,400 and this year they hope to beat that. The donations go to the charities chosen by CHS and LHS students. This year those are Northwest Children’s Home, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Open Doorway, and the Verdugo family.
