This Thursday, May 15th, is Peace Officers Memorial Day. To honor the sacrifices of law enforcement officers, Washington Governor Bob Ferguson has ordered all state and U.S. flags to be brought to half-staff.
Flags should be brought down from sunrise or start of business Thursday morning to close of business or sunset Thursday night.
Ferguson encourages non-state agencies, businesses, and individuals to do the same.
