You can get rid of your yard waste this Saturday if you live in Garfield County. Garfield County Recycling is hosting the event. You can bring your debris like grass clippings, leaves and small branches to the old rock pit off Gould City/Mayview Road.
They’ll also accept yard and garden debris including pine needles and limbs and small logs up to 15 inches in diameter.
If you bring your yard stuff in garbage bags, you’ll need to empty the bags and haul them away. They do not accept bags.
They open at 8am.
