A new developer is now under contract to purchase the Twin City Foods site in downtown Lewiston.
According to the Lewiston Tribune, after rejecting an $800,000 offer by the city of Lewiston to buy the 11.5 acre site near the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers, an unidentified company has emerged to develop and build for multiple uses on the property.
A real estate broker involved in the deal says plans include an upscale hotel and other buildings with a mix of commercial and residential uses. Details of the deal, including the name of the developer, a closing date and price have not been disclosed. (Lewiston Tribune)
