The five finalists to become Lewis-Clark State College’s next president are on the Lewiston campus this week for meetings with staff, students, faculty, and community groups, with open forums also scheduled at the college’s Coeur d’Alene campus.

The finalists were selected from a list of 10 semifinalists interviewed by the LCSC Presidential Search Committee to replace outgoing President Tony Fernandez, who is retiring in June.

The finalists are Cynthia Pemberton, currently the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Colorado Mesa University; Kristin Poppo, the provost at Alfred State College in New York; Graydon Stanley, the Vice President of Student Services at North Idaho College; Brock Tessman, the Dean of Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana; and Robbyn Wacker, the Senior Campaign Advisor for Development and Alumni Relations at University of Northern Colorado.

The State Board of Education will conduct interviews April 3rd. (ISBE, LCSC)
