An upcoming seminar for teens and adults hopes to bring the two groups together for better lives. The event will have a chance to hear from expert Dr. John Gaines, who call himself “a former at-risk youth turned inspirational powerhouse.” Then the EPIC Youth Panel takes the stage. John Morbeck is part of EPIC and says the panel could give parents some insights into what their kids are thinking.
“They will discuss what kind of struggles, what kind of things they’ve been through, maybe share a couple of their stories about how they were able to get themselves away from that behavior and things that they were doing, and some success stories.”
The event is open to everyone. It’s at the Asotin County Fire District building on Appleside in the Clarkston Heights. It starts May 7th at 5:00, with Dr. Gaines at 5:30 and the Youth Council at 6:30. There is no cost to attend.
