Padres Quiet Mariner Offense

Xander Bogaerts had three hits and drove in three runs as the San Diego Padres beat the Seattle Mariners 4-1 last (Tue) at Petco Park to open their three-game series.

Dominic Canzone drove in the lone run of the game for Seattle with a sacrifice fly. The Mariners were held to just four hits total.

On the mound, Bryan Woo took the loss. The M’s right-hander allowed 3 runs on 8 hits with 3 strikeouts over a 7 inning start.
