A firefighter and paramedic who has protected most of the LC Valley celebrates retirement today.  Mark Swift has spent 32 years of service locally.

Starting at Clarkston Fire in 1994, Swift spent nearly a decade before being hired full-time at Lewison Fire. He has also volunteered for Asotin County Fire. In 2018, he was the Idaho State VFW Firefighter/Paramedic of the Year.

The Lewison Firefighters union posted his retirement on Facebook, saying “We thank Mark for his decades of services, his leadership, and his commitment to improving emergency care in our community.”
