
The LC State women’s golf team moved up one spot in the NAIA Coaches Poll to #18 ahead of the final tournament of the regular season. The Warriors had a standout performance at the Roadrunner Spring Invitational in Dalton, Georgia., and were rewarded with their highest ranking since 2014.
LC State earned a seventh-place finish at one of the most competitive tournaments in the NAIA to close out non-conference play, led by Giulia Belfontali in a tie for seventh individually. The Warriors defeated then-9th ranked Indiana Wesleyan and #18 Rocky Mountain, Montana in the process and were just two strokes behind 8th ranked Loyola, Louisiana.
Around the Cascade Conference, British Columbia fell one spot to #4 and Oregon Tech remained #22.
LC State closes out the regular season at the Tournament of Knights today (Mon) and tomorrow (Tue) in Portland. The tournament will count in the conference standings.
