A main road in the Elks area of Lewiston is getting a drainage upgrade. The City of Lewiston is working with Brian McDermott Construction. They’ll be improving the stormwater drainage system along Meadowlark Drive. The changes will contain runoff and prevent further erosion to adjacent properties. They’ll be installing one new catch basin also with two catch basin frame and grates. They’ll replace an existing catch basin inlet, about 50 feet of curb and gutter, and the asphalt around it.
Construction begins Monday (April 6th) with work each day between 7am and 6pm.
