Avista Utilities will complete scheduled infrastructure work requiring a temporary road closure and traffic re-route on 11th Avenue between Snake River Avenue and Prospect Avenue in Lewiston next week. Work will begin at 5 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.
As part of the work, Avista will be replacing power poles along 11th Avenue to accommodate a City of Lewiston road project. A small number of customers may experience a brief planned power outage during construction. All impacted customers have been notified in advance.
According to a news release, the work is part of Avista’s ongoing efforts to update equipment and maintain reliable electrical service in the region.
