The Lewis-Clark State baseball team opens the 2026 season tomorrow (Sat) morning with a doubleheader against Whitworth.

The Warriors are coming off a 36-16 season a year ago that saw the team fail to qualify for the Avista NAIA World Series for a second straight year and cost former head coach Jake Taylor his job. Last spring LC brought back three-time national champion coach Jeremiah Robbins to lead the program for a second time.
Whitworth is coming off a 29-18 season last year where the Pirates advanced to the NCAA Division III Regionals.
Tomorrow’s doubleheader features a modified format with one 9 inning game followed by one 7 inning contest. The first pitch is set for 10 a.m. at Harris Field with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and streaming free online at koze.com.
