
Both Lewis-Clark State basketball teams picked up Cascade Conference wins at home last (Wed) night over Walla Walla University.
The 12th ranked Warrior women cruised 111-44 and set a program record with 40 assists on the team’s 45 field goals. Clarkston’s Kendall Wallace scored a career-high 26 points and Orofino native Grace Beardin also put up a career-best 16 points in the win. Tatum Brager tied her career-high with 21 points and the women improved to 17-6 overall and 11-4 in league play.
Meanwhile, the LC men rallied in the second half to beat the Walla Walla men 64-57. Colfax native John Lustig led the Warriors with 21 points and Dylan Skaife netted 13. The Warriors improved to 18-5 overall and 12-3 inside the conference.
