
The Lewiston High basketball teams split their 5-A Inland Empire League games with Lakeland last (Tue) night at LHS.
Kylese Samuels led the Bengal girls with 10 points and Darta Serdane put up 7 in a 53-33 loss to the state’s top-ranked 5-A team. LHS falls to 7-9 overall and 1-1 in league.
Meanwhile, the Bengal boys cruised to a 67-29 win over the Hawks.
Royce Fisher poured in 27 points and Brady Rudolph added 13 as the Bengals extended their win streak to 9 straight games while improving to 12-2 overall and 2-0 in conference.
Both teams are back in action Friday when they travel to Sandpoint for a doubleheader with the Bulldogs.
