The Seattle Seahawks will be without their leading touchdown scorer for the remainder of the playoffs after running back Zach Charbonnet suffered a “significant” knee injury.
The injury happened in the 2nd quarter of Seattle’s playoff win Saturday over the San Francisco 49ers. The ACL injury will require surgery and extensive rehab.
A second-round pick by the Seahawks in 2023, Charbonnet rushed for 730 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns on 184 carries in 16 regular-season games while sharing the work in Seattle’s backfield with Kenneth Walker.
The Seahawks host division rival Los Angeles in the NFC Championship game Sunday at 3 p.m. at Lumen Field with television coverage on FOX.
