The City of Lewiston has contracted with Jones Excavation to complete upgrades to the stormwater drainage system infrastructure on the undeveloped property located on 23rd Street between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue.
According to the city, the project includes upgrading a catch basin and storm drain which will eliminate the formation of sinkholes near the sewer line due to stormwater runoff.
Construction is scheduled to begin today (Wed) with hours of operation generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Work is expected to be completed by January 23rd.
