The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Asotin and Garfield Counties.
Winds of 30-40 mph are expected today with gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Pomeroy, Alpowa Summit on Highway 12, and higher, exposed elevations of both counties will get the worst of it. Down in the LC Valley, we can expect gusts up to 28 miles per hour.
The Warning ends at 7am tomorrow (Thurs).
