You can put it on the calendar. Local veterans and citizens will be conducting a Pearl Harbor remembrance wreath-laying ceremony. Sunday, December 7th, at 11am the LC Valley Veterans Council, the local Fleet Reserve Association, and other veteran groups hold the ceremony on the water at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.
The ceremony will include the wreath-laying, a World War II aircraft flyover, 21-gun salute, and playing of Taps by the Marine Corps League.
Organizers say if you’d like to view the event, the best places will be the walkway from the Blue Bridge or the Lewiston levee pathway at the confluence.
