The Idaho Transportation Department will close a portion of U.S. Highway 12 today (Tue) as a rock scaling project continues.
According to ITD, the road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today as crews continue efforts to remove dangerous rocks above the roadway.
Once re-opened flaggers will continue to control traffic with at least one lane open. Motorists should expect delays once the road re-opens or consider an alternate route instead.
