The Governor and First Lady of Idaho are hosting the state Christmas tree lighting ceremony next week.
They invite all Idahoans to the event on December 3rd for a free celebration with entertainment, remarks from the Governor and First Lady, holiday music, complimentary cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee.
It starts at 5:30 with the tree lighting at 6:30 Mountain Time.
Santa Claus and his elf will be handing out candy canes and bookmarks to people there and will available for photos.
Afterward, guests can enter the Capitol to look around until festivities end at 7:30pm.
