ISP Investigates Vehicle vs Pedestrian Crash in Orofino

The Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that occurred last (Wed) night on Michigan Avenue and North A Street in Orofino.

According to an ISP news release, at about 6:10 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a collision involving one vehicle and two pedestrians. A witness to the incident immediately called 911. The unidentified pedestrians – a 76-year-old man and 75-year-old woman – were transported to the Clearwater Valley Hospital by ground ambulance with unspecified injuries. The driver was an unidentified 46-year-old woman.

The Orofino Police Department, Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, and Orofino Fire Department all assisted with the incident, which remains under investigation.
