A Caldwell man died in an accident north of New Meadows last night (Thurs). At about 9:09pm Idaho State Police officers responded to a crash on Highway 95. A 25-year-old man was headed south when he rolled his vehicle and knocked down a power pole. The driver succumbed to his injuries from the crash. An ISP report says he was wearing his seat belt. Highway 95 was blocked for about 4 hours as crews worked to assist the others that became involved in the accident. Three other vehicles, including one semi-truck, hit debris from the power pole.
