Patrons of the Grangeville School District have voted down a proposed two-year, $1.65 million supplemental levy by a vote of 53.8 percent to 46.2 percent.
All other proposed school levies were approved.
Orofino-based Joint School District 171 saw it’s two-year $2.68 million dollar levy narrowly pass. Voters in the Kendrick Joint School District said yes to a two-year $795,000 supplemental levy. A one-year $1.18 million dollar levy was passed by voters in the Genesee School District. A two-year $995,000 levy was approved by voters in the Troy School District. And patrons of the Kooskia-based Clearwater Valley School District passed a one-year $812,000 supplemental levy.
