Tomorrow (Tues) is election day. Asotin County voters are reminded to turn in ballots. You have until 8pm Tuesday to make your opinion count on a number of issues and two contested races.
One Clarkston City Council race has an incumbent, Sarah Reaves, and a challenger, Jesse Shroyer. One Cemetery Commission position is up for grabs. The others just have a single person running.
Voters will also decide on a Clarkston EMS Levy, Asotin County sales tax to fund improvements to emergency communications in the county, a potential increase in sales tax to fund public transportation in Clarkston, and a levy lid lift to restore previous-level funding to the Asotin County Library.
Voters can turn in ballots at Clarkston City Hall on 5th Street, The Asotin County Courthouse, and at the ballot drop box by Lincoln Middle School in the Heights.
