Voters in Lewiston will decide the fate of a multi-million-dollar infrastructure bond as well as the city’s Mayoral and City Council positions in tomorrow’s (Tue) election.
According to the ballot, the $22.5 million infrastructure bond is intended to address the city’s water, wastewater, stormwater and road improvements. The city intends to use annual appropriations from general funds, as well as water and sewer revenues to make bond payments and minimize or eliminate the need for a tax levy.
Two candidates are running for Mayor, including incumbent Dan Johnson and opponent Darlene Lambert.
Seven residents are on the ballot for three Lewiston City Council seats. They include: Andrea Ackerland, Bob Blakey, Kassee Forsmann, Linda Glines, Brennon Leafty, Bryan Moree, and Matthew Wright.
Polls are open tomorrow (Tue) from 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
