Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and conducted a search of the home, rescuing two dogs from inside.

The response included three structural engines, three ambulances, one chief officer, and two fire inspectors—totaling 18 personnel from Lewiston. Clarkston Fire also responded with one engine and four personnel.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Estimated damage to the structure and contents is between $10,000 and $15,000. No injuries were reported, and both dogs survived.
