Put it on your calendar. October 18th The Winter Spirit committee starts getting Locomotive Park ready for Christmas. The thousands of lights need people to string them every year, so they’re looking for volunteers to get things ready to bring smiles to children’s faces. If you can help, just show up. There’s no need to RSVP or call ahead. Starting Saturday the 18th organizers will be there with coffee and donuts from 8am – 2pm. They’ll be working every Saturday until the one before Thanksgiving.
