Idaho County deputies arrested a man for domestic battery. It happened Tuesday night at about 10:43 near Kamiah.
A press release says deputies arrived and found a female with visible injuries and determined that a domestic battery had occurred.
They arrested 34-year-old Kevin Kelly for felony domestic battery in the presence of a child.
The release from the Sheriff’s Office says “This arrest demonstrates our commitment to emergency response and protecting families, especially children, from domestic violence.”
