Drought Continues Into September

After drought conditions for May, June, and July, August came in a little closer to normal for rainfall. A few sprinkles Saturday and Sunday helped finish off the month at .29 inches of precipitation. The mean August amount is .46 inches.  The record for most Lewiston August rainfall was set back in 2004 at 1.81 inches.

July saw just .07 inches, June skies dropped .08 inches, and May had .51 inches of rain.
