The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office is warning campers and outdoor enthusiasts to lock valuables up while recreating over the holiday weekend.
According to a social media post, the Sheriff’s Office says that in recent weeks there have been several reports of thefts in the forest.
The Sheriff’s Office says if you are recreating in the Nez Perce and Clearwater National Forests, be sure to secure anything of value and remain alert.
