This weekend will be a noisy one. The Thunder on the Snake Jet Boat Race kicks off with a show and shine on Friday, then both Saturday and Sunday, boats will speed from Hells Gate, past Asotin, to Bear Bar., and then turn around and come back.

The “Biggest little rodeo in Idaho” is this weekend. THE CVRA in Kamiah kicks off Saturday and continues Sunday.
When you’re not at the rodeo, there’s plenty to do in Kamiah. It’s the 2025 Free BBQ Days. With events starting Friday morning at 9, there’s certainly something to interest you. There’s an art show & sale, spaghetti feed, cowboy breakfast, games for the kids, and a lot more.
