Idaho and Lemhi Counties are under a Flood Watch. The National Weather Service is warning of the possibility of flash flooding and debris flows from excessive rainfall. It’s expected to hit tomorrow (Weds) afternoon and evening. The warning says excessive runoff may result in rock and mudslides along steep terrain, recent burn scars, and flood-prone locations.
Highway 95 from Whitebird to Riggins, the Moose Fire Burn Area, Williams Creek Fire Burn Area, and Magruder Fire Burn Area are specified as areas of concern in the warning.
