The weather forecast has been updated to reflect the Red Flag Warning for tomorrow.
An Extreme Heat Warning lasts until 8:00 tonight (Tues). It covers most of our area from Pomeroy to Peck. The National Weather Service is warning of high temperatures that will increase the possibility of heat-related illnesses.
There’s a Red Flag Warning for tomorrow. It runs from noon until 9:00pm. Temperatures will reach into the high-90s. There will also be low-humidity with the winds out of the west, gusting into the 30 mile-per-hour range. It includes the LC Valley, Mosocw, Orofino, Grangeville, and everything in-between.
Places west of Clarkston and Pullman are under a Fire Weather Watch tomorrow from 11:00am until 11:00pm. Conditions will be very similar to the Red Flag areas.
