If you live in the Asotin County Fire District, your ballot is due tomorrow (Tues). That’s the only thing on this year’s August primary ballot. The Fire District is asking voters to approve the return of its tax levy to 50-cents-per-thousand dollars. Voters approved the levy a few years ago, but then a new state law dropped it. Approval would return the levy to what voters already agreed. The funds go to Emergency Medical Services.
Your ballot must can be dropped off at the Auditor’s Office or any of the drop boxes at the Courthouse, Clarkston City Hall, or Lincoln Middle School.
