Four people are dead today after a shooting in Anaconda, MT. A press release from the Montana Department of Justice, says the shooting took place in The Owl Bar at about 10:30 (MDT) this morning. The release goes on to say authorities are searching for a suspect who they believe to be armed west of Anaconda, near Stumptown Road and Anderson Ranch Loop Road.
The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center provided a photo and posted a notice that says “Be advised suspect in shooting is believed to be armed and dangerous. Suspect is Michael Paul Brown and was last seen in the Stumptown area. Public is advised to stay out of the stumptown area and surrounding areas. If seen do not approach. Contact 911 for any way to contact Michael Paul Brown.”
The Department of Justice says it’s an active investigation, and more information will be shared when it’s available.
