The City of Lewiston is starting a wastewater rehabilitation project Monday. It’s near the corner of 16th Avenue, better knows as Southway Avenue, and 16th Street. Crews are working on an existing sanitary sewer main.

A press release from the city says it will take about three weeks depending on weather and conditions of the site. They’ll be working Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm. During the work, they’ll reduce the size of the lanes on 16th Avenue. If you’re traveling through there, you should expect to drive more slowly than usual. If you live there, the city assures you that you’ll still be able to get to your driveway.
