The confessed quadruple murderer Bryan Kohberger will spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced today (Wed) at the Ada County Courthouse in Boise.

Kohberger confessed to the stabbing murders of University of Idaho students Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022 in an off-campus house in Moscow.

In delivering his sentence, Judge Hippler was unable to find anything positive to say about Kohberger.

The 30-year-old Kohberger was sentenced to 4 life terms in prison and a $50,000 fine for each first-degree murder conviction and a civil penalty of $5,000 to be paid to the victim’s families. He also sentenced Kohberger 10 years fixed for felony burglary and assessed a $50,000 fine.
