The Seattle Mariners have announced that outfielder Julio Rodríguez has decided to pull out of the MLB All-Star Game, saying that he will take the break to rest and get ready for the second half of the season.
Rodriguez was one of four Mariners selected to play for the American League in the Mid-Summer Classic, along with catcher Cal Raleigh and pitchers Bryan Woo and Andres Munoz.
Raleigh will also compete in the Home Run Derby Monday night in Atlanta. The All-Star Game is set for Tuesday night.
