Willi Castro had a run-scoring single and Kody Clemens homered as the Minnesota Twins shutout the Seattle Mariners 2-0 last (Wed) night at Target Field.
On the mound, Joe Ryan and three relievers combined to hold the Mariners to just 3 hits – all singles. Ryan struck out 8 in his 6 inning start.
Logan Gilbert pitched well for Seattle in the loss. The right-hander allowed one run on three hits with 3 strikeouts and fell to 1-4 on the year.
