Residents in the Clarkston Heights were awakened last night when an explosion annoyed dogs, rattled windows, and lit up the night sky. It happened just after 10:20pm.
Neither the Asotin County Fire District, nor the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office responded to any fires, injuries, or damage. The Sheriff’s Office did respond to the Heights about an hour later for reports of fireworks.
There are reports on Facebook about people hearing it in Lewiston and Asotin.
