
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there are several family-friendly events happening.
The LC Animal Shelter hosts their “Woof Walk” this Saturday. It’s at the Lewiston Community Park on Warner Avenue. Registration starts at. 8:00am and. The walk starts at 9:00. It’s $30 to register in the morning. Well-mannered dogs are invited. Each dog must be on a leash, and can’t be in heat. They strongly recommend you make sure your dog has up-to-date vaccinations.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a free boater safety coarse. It’s Sunday from 8:00am until 2:00pm. It’s at 1150 Wall Street. It’s open to all ages and experience levels. Deputy. Derrick Wilkinson is leading the class and recommends you register ahead of time at 208-750-2088 extension 4532.
The Lewiston Farmers Market is every Saturday through the end of September from 8:00am until noon at the Sportsman’s Warehouse parking lot.

And the Lewiston Civic Theatre’s presentation of Oklahoma continues this weekend. Thursday through Saturday the performances are at 7:00pm. Sunday there’s a matinee at 2:00pm. All shows are at the old Lewiston High School auditorium. You can get tickets at lctheatre.org or by calling the box office at 208-746-3401.
