Mariners Snap Skid with Win Over Angels

Randy Arozarena had three hits and a run-batted-in and Jorge Polanco added two hits and also had an RBI as the Seattle Mariners snapped a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 win on the road over the Los Angeles Angels yesterday.

On mound, George Kirby picked up his 1st win of the season. The righthander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 14 strikeouts over a 7 inning start.  Andres Munoz earned his 18th save with a no-hit 9th inning.

The Mariners continue their road trip with a 3-game series beginning tonight (Mon) in Arizona against the Diamondbacks. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40 from Chase Field with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
