Heat Advisory Saturday On The Nez Perce Reservation, Orofino, & More

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for parts of North-Central Idaho, warning of high temperatures and low humidity. Those areas may also see gusty winds of 30-40 miles per hour.

The warning starts tomorrow at 1:00pm and lasts until 1:00am Sunday.  They expect temperatures above 95, and into the triple digits in some locations.

In Lapwai, the high will be 96 degrees with gusts up to 28 miles per hour.
In Orofino, the high Saturday will be 97 degrees gusts up to 21 miles per hour.
In Grangeville, the high will be around 90 degrees with gusts up to 24 miles per hour.

Some of the lower-lying canyons are expected to hit the century mark.
Like Orofino, the LC Valley will get close with 97 degrees in downtown Clarkston Saturday afternoon.
